Ever ready,
No fear,
No hesitation,
I leap --
In that very last moment
In those three heartbeats
A lifetime flashes
History relived
Worries revisited
Too late --
I am airborne
Giddy, gleeful
Unbound, unfettered
Alone, amazed
Diving in....
